Blossom by Jimmy Choo A lot of people prefer husky fragrances but I prefer those with sweet textures and notes. I was then given this pretty little perfume set as a gift around Valentines Day and it’s been one of my favourite perfumes ever since.
The heart notes are sweet pea and rose, the top notes are berries, citrus and cocktail and the base notes are white musk and sandal wood. Everyone knows how much I love pretty things and the Blossom perfume set altogether is just that- pretty pretty pretty.
The bottle looks very similar to Flash with its square design and ombré effect, except it’s pink and not purple, but they both look great on your dresser or shelf. Mine came with a separate silver shimmery Jimmy Choo box (which now has my nail polishes in it) and a miniature perfume, which is actually so cute.
Opium (New) by Yves Saint Laurent
Opium was launched in the 1970’s and has been a popular classic ever since. I bought this after spraying it in-store and surprisingly realising that it had a very distinct smell. It was completely different to all the others i’d ever tried; you smell it and you know what it is. It’s oriental, mature and full of sensation. It contains rich notes of mandarin, carnation, jasmine, amber and vanilla- you can smell the richness a mile away. The fact that the top notes are mandarin orange and bergamot gives it a citrusy yet warm finish. It’s a nice alternative to the usuals I wear such as Miss Dior.
Be Jeweled Rouge by Vera Wang
Be Jeweled Rouge is a perfume PERFECT for the summer with its super light and summery tones. The perfume is in such pretty packaging as well; Vera Wang’s designs are always beautiful.
The perfume includes a blend of red currant, pomegranate and champagne whilst the heart notes are fruity zests of passion fruit with pink honeysuckle and pink peony all on a base of musk and sandalwood. Including J’Adore Dior, this is one one my favourite designs in regards to the bottle. So much thought has been given to the way the bottle is shaped so that the light reflects it, almost like a diamond, and it just looks really delicate. You can find this perfume in the sales for around £20 so for those people who don’t have a lot of disposable income or don’t like spending too much on perfumes this is perfect; it’s lovely and not too pricey.
